Alkmaar, 6 October 2015. Costa Renewables, brokering and consultancy services provider to the international energy industry, has opened its new head office in Alkmaar, the Netherlands.

Costa Renewables was originally founded in 2007 in Costa Rica, a country that is able to (largely) provide in the national electricity needs from renewable energy sources. Europe still has a long way to go but has the potential to also become substantially more self-sufficient. This is where Costa Renewables can help, by bringing the right parties together to make an energy project possible and by advising project developers on how to execute their energy projects in the most cost-reductive and safe manner, identifying and managing risks throughout the different stages of a project.

Ed Wehnes, Chief Executive Officer of Costa Renewables said: “With the new office we will be able to better serve our clients and expand our business in Europe. Our company philosophy is to unburden our clients. We have tried to reflect this also in the interior of our new office. An open plan office reflects our transparent business model whilst by combining natural elements such as wood and green plants, linking to Costa Rica, we have created an atmosphere where both clients and staff can enjoy work.”

The address of the new office is: Scheldestraat 20, 1823 WB Alkmaar, the Netherlands.
